How To Help

How will the Trust be funded?

The Matthew Elvidge Trust (TMET) was started with an initial lump sum gift and we have now raised over £340,000. We will ensure that the Trust's objectives are sustained through regular fundraising events and support. We hope that you will want to support our work and there are a number of different ways of providing help.

Funding policy

The Trust is funded by generous donations from supporters and 100% of the money raised is used directly to support our selected projects and activities. All administration and running costs are fully covered by the family.

The Trust gives priority to proposals, which are focused on increasing awareness and reducing the stigma of depression in young people, equipping and training people who are best placed to identify those at risk and encouraging and helping young people to ask for and receive the right professional help.

Raising funds through Events

All of our projects are entirely funded through the generosity of our supporters and we would love you to organise an event in support of the Trust. Some examples of activities are:
