Learn more about the benefits of Positive Psychology on Thursday March 6th

On Thursday March 6th Dr Illona Boniwell, one of the world's leading experts on Positive Psychology will provide an interactive talk on the science of wellbeing. This event will be in central London and include a number of different dimensions of happiness, developing resilience, using strengths and changing mindsets. She will also explore how positive psychology can be used to transform parenting, education, organisations and society as a whole.

Nick Elvidge and Alex Warnakulasuriya on Tour de France!!

On the 20th July 2014, Nicholas Elvidge and Alex Warnakulasuriya will attempt L'Etape du Tour - an amateur cycling race to be held over stage 18 of this year's Tour de France. This covers the full 148km and follows the exact route that will be tackled by the pros four days later.

40 Universities raise awareness on the importance of good mental health

Students at universities around the country will be taking part in activities like Zumba and singing on Wednesday February 19th to raise awareness of the importance of good mental health.
Rosanna Hardwick of Student Minds (an organisation supported by the Trust) says that the aim of the day is to draw attention to the particular needs of students and encourage people to talk about their mental health.
The day is designed to let studnets know what help is available in the form of counselling and peer support groups.
